Life and Friendship in Luoyang: A University Student's Journey
Hello everyone! My name is Rose, and I am a 21-year-old university student studying Environmental Science at the Henan University of Science and Technology in Luoyang, China. Luoyang, a city with a rich history and vibrant culture, has been my home for the past few years, and I love every bit of it.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring the beautiful natural landscapes that Luoyang has to offer. Whether it's a visit to the Longmen Grottoes, a UNESCO World Heritage site with stunning Buddhist art, or a peaceful walk through the Peony Garden during the spring, there's always something new to discover. One of my favorite spots is the Luoyang Old Town, where I can immerse myself in the traditional architecture and local cuisine.
Academically, I am passionate about environmental sustainability and have been involved in various projects aimed at promoting eco-friendly practices on campus. Last semester, I helped organize a community recycling drive, which was a huge success and received great feedback from both students and faculty. This experience has inspired me to pursue a career in environmental consulting after graduation.
Beyond academics, I am an avid reader and enjoy discussing books with friends. I recently read "The Hidden Life of Trees" by Peter Wohlleben, which deepened my appreciation for nature and its intricate connections. If you're into books or nature, I'd love to connect and share more about our interests!
Friendship is incredibly important to me, and I believe that meaningful connections can be formed anywhere and anytime. Whether it's through shared hobbies, intellectual discussions, or just hanging out, I find joy in building lasting friendships. If you're a fellow university student or someone looking to connect in Luoyang, please feel free to reach out. Let's make the most of our time here and create unforgettable memories together!
