A University Student’s Life in Lanzhou: Connect Twice, Friend Forever
Hello everyone! My name is Alex, and I'm a university student at Lanzhou University. Today, I want to share a bit about my life here in Lanzhou and invite you all to connect and become friends. Lanzhou, located in the northwest of China, is known for its rich cultural heritage, scenic beauty, and friendly people. It's a place where I've grown both personally and academically, and I'm excited to share this journey with you.
One of my favorite spots on campus is the botanical garden, where I spend a lot of time with my Philodendron spp. plant. It’s not just a hobby; it’s a way for me to relax and find peace amidst the bustling city. Here’s a photo of me with my plant:

Life in Lanzhou is vibrant and full of opportunities. Our university has a diverse student body from all over China and even international students, which makes for a rich and dynamic environment. I am involved in several clubs, including the debate club and the photography club, where I get to meet new people and learn new skills.
Outside of academics, I enjoy exploring the local culture and trying out different cuisines. Lanzhou is famous for its beef noodle soup, which is a must-try if you ever visit. The city also has beautiful natural landscapes, such as the Yellow River and the Binglingsi Grottoes, which I love to visit during weekends.
I am looking for friends who share similar interests or are curious about different cultures. Whether you’re into botany, photography, debate, or just enjoying good food, I would love to connect with you. Let’s share our experiences, learn from each other, and create lasting friendships.
